Shana Hisaw, M.S., LPC-S

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas in the Permian Basin. I relocated to Corpus Christi to be near the water in 2013. I love the outdoors and the Island is my home!  I have 4 children, two in college and two at home.  I have been licensed and practicing counseling since 2007.

I am a Christian and do come from a Christian perspective. I do not require clients to be the same belief of me, however, and do not force my beliefs onto others. I do offer Christian counseling for those who desire this. I believe that spiritual component is one often missing and essential to healing the Mind, Body and Soul.

I have several specialties that I enjoy working with in counseling:

• Ages 17 & up to treat Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Trauma and other major mental health disorders.  I specialize in CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and AFT(Aroma Freedom Technique)

• Premarital and Marital Counseling- I offer marital intensive sessions if needed
• Life Coaching to address a variety of areas
• I do all the psychological testing for the clinic to help with the counseling process

Shana sees ages 16 & up for therapy and does telehealth and in person appointments. In person is available Tues, Wed, Thurs and teleheatlh is available Mon-Fri. My office is at: 5866 S. Staples, Ste 320, Corpus Christ, TX 78413
