I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from TAMUCC in 2017, since then I have worked with many extraordinary people. I have experience with addiction, behavioral modification, resolving issues with anxiety and depression, and anger management. The majority of my professional career has been working with high-risk clients with co-occurring substance abuse issues and often severe mental illness. I bring a practical, direct approach to clients' issues while maintaining a positive regard for everyone I've worked with in their life difficulties.
My treatment methods have ranged from group, individual, and couples' counseling with tools ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. I like to provide care for the whole person and prefer every client leave my office feeling relief, accomplishment, and hope for their life and future.
I am a single father of a 17-year-old son and moved here with my family when I was only 13 years old, so I consider myself a Texan through and through. I enjoy weight lifting, films, books, cooking, carpentry, and my greatest love is good conversation.
