Shana Hisaw, M.S., LPC-S

Hi. I know that coming to counseling is often a hard choice for people, so it's important to make sure it is a good fit.

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas in the Permian Basin. I relocated to Corpus Christi to be near the water in 2013. I love the outdoors and the Island is my home!  I have 4 children, two in college and two at home.  I have been licensed and practicing counseling since 2007.

I have several specialties that I enjoy working with in counseling:

• Ages 17 & up to treat Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Trauma and other major mental health disorders.  I specialize in CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and AFT(Aroma Freedom Technique)

• Premarital and Marital Counseling- I offer marital intensive sessions and marital classes
• Life Coaching to address a variety of areas
• I do all the psychological testing for the clinic to help with the counseling process
• I offer a variety of classes-call for current available ones
• I work with children ages 6-13 for the Play Attention Program

Shana sees ages 17 & up for therapy and 6-13 for the Play Attention Program. Shana is available Mon to Thurs 9 to 3.
